For anyone who hasn’t yet sampled Horrid Henry, then Horrid Henry’s Wicked Ways is as good a place to start as any. Henry is up to all his usual tricks in this compedium of stories. He tricks his friends, drives his Mum and Dad crazy, plays around at school, and never misses a chance to do down his annoying younger brother Pefect Peter. Unlike the vast bulk of children’s stories, the Horrid Henry series is brilliantly written, and will amuse parents just as much as it does the kids.
