Federal Reserve Website for Kids

You can never be too young to start learning about economics – or at least that’s what America’s central bank the Federal reserve believes. The fed has launched its website for kids.

It’s written in nice simple language, and is no doubt a useful teaching aid, but I must admit, I think a basic how-to for adults would not be so different, apart from perhaps the typography and the pictures. Don’t miss the quiz. Question 1:

1. When was the Federal Reserve Board created and by whom?
a 1842, Christopher Columbus
b 1945, Franklin D. Roosevelt and the Supreme Court
c 1913, Woodrow Wilson and Congress
d 2004, George W. Bush
