Scientists have been wondering for a long time how Mammoths became extinct, and now they think they have the answer. Warmer weather, rain, and forrests killed off the shaggy elephant-like creatures who used to roam the earth between 1.8 million and 10,500 years ago. The trees cast shadows over the low-level gass and bushes that the Mammoths used to eat, and the Mammoths were too big to move around in the woods.
