This is not true. God new this was going to happen from the beginning. He knew that after Noah had gotten of the arc sin would grow again. Humans by nature are sinful. Because we are sinful we deserve to die. That is why God sent his only and perfect Son, Jesus, to die in our place.

Dear Amber, that’s a good point about the last line and about God being a big man. We didn’t actually write these versions, but they are beautifully told in a wonderful voice of an actor who was quite famous in Britain.

I wish the last line didn’t say “God went away again”. Otherwise one of the better tellings of that story in children’s language I’ve seen.
I don’t like that some of these have the view that God is a big man watching from high up in the sky- contradicts what I teach them (and what the Bible teaches us)
