Natasha will be appearing in a play called “Better Forget” at the Lion and Unicorn Theatre in London’s Kentish Town from August 15th to 20th with two extra performances on the 30th and 31st. Tickets cost £10 or £7.50 for concessions. Box Office : 0207 4859 897. I’m afraid all I know about it at the moment is the blurb:

‘It’s quite common for people to forget. To consciously, or unconsciously, block things out. When one experiences pain, physical or psychological, the mind doesn’t want the brain to remember. The psyche’s way of protecting you.

Remembering can bring about negative emotions such as sadness and regret. Retrospect can be a very bad thing altogether..

A young woman has lost ten years of her life. She wants them back - or does she? Emotional detox, cod psychology and consumer economics take their toll in this comic drama with dance and musical elements.’

Better Forget has been developed especially for the Open Secret season by Verity Bargate Award nominated writer Laura Evers-Johns, and is directed by acclaimed playwright and director Jaqui Honess-Martin, Cheek By Jowl associate, who’s site Specific company has enjoyed well received London runs.’
