I don’t think it should be too hard to re-write Rumpeltiltskin from the point of view of the small fellow
Perhaps explore how he feels when the young princess tries to guess his name. Is he frustrated? nervous she will discover his true name.

Did you notice fairytales use the number three alot. In this story, the queen had 3 days to guess the name, had to spin gold 3 times and the wheel turned 3 time before the reel was full. Also from other stories there are the 3 little pigs, the 3 bears from Goldilocks, etc. Great story by the way. I feel sor of bad for Rumpelstiltskin, the queen never fufilled her promise and now heis dead. I found a similar version where he didn’t die but instead was set up so he was mocked at for going throough so much for nothing…

I’m supposed to write this story from Rumpelstiltskin’s point of view, but write it so that Rumpelstiltskin the good guy and the queen is evil… that shouldn’t be too hard, right? I mean, you shouldn’t promise what you can’t deliver and maybe he’s lonely????!!!!

The title of the story stems from the name of the strange character in the woods
The tale follows that he gives the young princess has three chances to geuss his peculiar
name. She searches high and low until she finds the young fellow one day calling out his name
in the deep dark woods.
