Hay Fever Festival For Children’s Books

Hay FeverThis year sees the 20th Hay Fever Festival – the children’s offshoot of the famous Guardian Hay Festival in the village of Hay-on-Wye. The Hay Fever Festival is “for anyone who likes stories” – and as that sounds like us, we are going to be popping up there. We’ll be taking our microphone to record some interviews, and Natasha is going to be having some girly chats with two best selling authors who really know how to write great “heartache” fiction for girls and young adults: Louise Rennison and Cathy Cassidy. We’ll publish their talks here on Storynory.

There are loads of amusing events with a literary twist from 25th May to 3rd June – including “The Worst Witch”, “You Cannae Throw your Grannie of the Buss” and “I Will Never Eat a Tomato” . Don’t ask – we just suggest you come along and see what they are about. Also see the likes of Quentin Blake, the great children’s illustrator, 100 mile-an-hour-author Jeremy Strong, and many more.

If Storynory listeners would like to meet Natasha, we are going to be up there on the 29th of May. Just drop Bertie a text on +44 7941 190 740 or email Bertie in advance.
