  I LOVED it!!!!!!!!!! Especially the inspiring part when she was in the church praying!!!
  Beautiful and full of sentiment and charm. We NEED more stories like this for our young children who are bombarded with negative characters and insensitivity.

  kaitlyn’s part: I thought it was super sad!!! I kind of liked it , but didn’t like when she died at the end!!!

  Amyk’s part: I read this book before so I knew she was going to die.The story had alot of meaning to me.I think the church part was soooo touching!!!!

  I seen the story when i was young,
  tv’s were only black&screen,I had tears in my eyes just before Christmas, after that time it was never on tv again ,very good story

  I am a christian and I think that this was a very sad story and I think of my grandpa when I listen to this story because I never got to see him before he died….I also think that Jesus felt more pain then the little match girl did when Jesus died on the cross for our sins… I am not as old as you might think I am

  Yea I never really liked the story.I kept hopeing someone would be nice and take her in and get her warm and feed her or at least buy some matches from her.But no she dies at the end,I just thought it was sad.
