iTeddy

iteddyiTeddy is a cuddly toy with a media player in its tummy. It’s on sale in the UK at Argos, and it might in Wal Mart in the USA in the near future. We’ve heard of at least two other similar products that are due to be launched soon.

iTeddy comes with a website and download store. You can buy content individually or pay a monthly fee. But here’s our top tip – Why not come to Storynory – where you will find approaching 90 audio stories absolutely free ? And we are starting to add video stories too.

Now you can listen to Natasha on you iTeddy. And who knows, one day there might even be an iBertie.

P.S. Don’t be put off by this rather awful video – iTeddy is actually a very good idea.

Heather…Please share what you had to do to get picture and such onto the iTeddy. I have been working for hours and still can’t get anything on it that it didn’t come with.

I love the iteddy, her grandma bought it for her birthday she is 3 now. I have got all kinds of stuff downloaded for her. Pics of her, videos of her and abc song and she is learning the abc’s. This was a good idea.

    Hi Diane

Just like to point out that iTeddy is nothing to do with Storynory – it’s just something we mentioned a while ago on our now defunct blog section. If you would like to download stories, why not just download loads of stories from Storynory for your iTeddy? There’s no need to buy anything from their site.

I bought 2 of these for my grandsons for Christmas 2 months ago and I still can’t get anything downloaded into them! I have emailed with response but no actual help. Don’t give for a gift until you make sure it will work! It’s a good idea, but just doesn’t do what they say.
