BOOK IT! Cheltenham Festival for Young People
How do you fancy discovering a few Mysteries of the Universe? Strangely enough, you may be able to discover a few of them in the English town of Cheltenham which is going to be playing host to a Children’s book festival called BOOK IT ! this October.
The person to unravel the mysteries is George. He’s the hero of George’s Secret Key to The Universe, by Lucy and Stephen Hawking. Professor Stephen Hawking is famous for his book, A Brief History of Time, (hopefully the George book is easier to understand). Lucy is a journalist. And you can meet dad and daughter team at BOOK IT !.
BOOK It !runs from October 5-14 2007 and there will be an array of events by authors including Robert Winston, Nick Hornby, Judith Kerr, Terry Pratchett and former Children’s Laureate Jacqueline Wilson. You can also meet Jeremy Strong whom Natasha interviewed ealier this year.
