Perhaps it's very UK English. The picture was just from a picture library, but I made the colours more revolting. Yes, the cat people really are creepy. As I recall, the story was inspired a bit by Planet of the Apes and a bit by Gulliver's Travels. There's also just a touch of a Russian novel called "Heart of the Dog". It has more edge than most of our stories. It probably doesn't appeal to our youngest listeners because the dog really does hate the cat, and there's no sugar coating over that. But we have older listeners who are ready for a bit of "bite". Hi Katie
