Jack's mom created Jack to be this slow child..she probably was overbearing and too controlling of Jack and didn't let him make any decisions. The movie "Stepbrothers" is similar. The movie "Waterboy" is similar, too. I allow my kids to make decisions so they won't be slow like I was. Check out Active Parenting w/ Dr. Popkin. Nincomput is namecalling/bullying.
