but the man who’s called Bertie He stole this story from the Bible, the qoran for Muslims
I had hoped, he said it was from the Koran
and he had made some mistakes in the story
I hope do not do that again

Thanks to everyone for your views on shorter or longer stories. It’s something we often think about.

We try to do a mixture of both. I hope you don’t think this is a wishy-washy compromise – - but some just turn out long, and others shorter.

However, we agree that it’s hard to build an atmosphere in a short story. On the other hand, some stories really are short and sweet.

I agree. Don’t shorten or take anything out of your stories. Most of the time when that’s done, it’s not as substantive! Fast food, you know?

I’m usually wishing for the opposite–Is there a longer version to your stories? =)
