Dear Anon… Do you mean you would like tips on how to write song lyrics? For Gladys I thought of a big metaphor (Life is a Circus) and then wrote down lots of possible images and puns to do with love and a circus (you taught me to fly and I swooped to your arms) etc. Then I made these into lines that scanned and rhymed. I also counted the beats of each line on my fingers. The structure is generally verse chorus, verse chorus, bridge, verse chorus. I hope this helps !

Great story! Thats sad that the dogs were controlled by the cat people. I think that cats sent the dogs up to lure Astropup and the parrot to their planet.
