I would like to cmpete as well. I am in fifth grade. Can I make up my story? I enjoy making up stories so much that I write one every week! Can I do it? Can I compete even though I am late? I alreaady have a story in my head and I would like to give it to you. Can do that Bertie? I would like to join really bad. I hope I can. When will you pick the story that seems better than the rest?

Dear Emma, You can write a story about a classic character (not a modern one that might be in copyright – ask mum and dad about that). But put a new and original spin on the story.
