If you have registered your location on a Google Map it will give you local results depending on where you live. You can set up your iGoogle page to show your latest Gmail messages, or your Google calendar. You can add all sorts of cool gadgets to your page. In fact, iGoogle is so good that its Google's fastest growing service according to its own blog.
