Richard Scott trained as a classical actor at the Central School of Speech and Drama after graduating from the University of Cambridge with Classics and Archaeology. Richard's love of storytelling was inspired, of course, by the bed-time stories he was read by his parents as a child. In particular it was the Greek myths which really fascinated him and it were these myths that inspired him to become a Latin and Greek teacher later in life (and tell his classes Greek myths on Friday afternoons as a treat if his pupils had worked hard all week!) Currently, when not acting, Richard works as an education consultant helping primary teachers find jobs across London. He lives in London. (He keeps it a secret from from his cat, Snufkin, that his alter-ego on Storynory is indeed a dog....Astropup!)
